This photo shows Carl Oliver Reinhold and his four oldest children posing
for the camera at his father's retirement home. Carl Oscar and Nora
Reinhold moved to a house 1/4 mile north of the Reinhold family farm in
1947 after Carl Oscar retired from farming.
Bordering Carl Oscar's property was an additional 80 acres that was part of Carl Oliver's family farm. The barn in the background of the photo belonged to Carl Oliver and was used for supplemental housing for hay and heifers. Some time later, this barn collapsed during a severe storm. |
