Title Reinhold Family Farm - Front Yard with Flag
Place Medford, Wisconsin
Date c.
Description The American flag was an important symbol to Carl Oliver and Josephine Reinhold.  A flagpole was installed on the front yard of the Reinhold family farm to fly the flag.

In this photograph, the viewer can see a number of other features on the family farm.  The birdhouse positioned to the left of the flag was built by one of Carl and Josephine's sons.  Also, one can see the brooder house, the chicken coop and a portion of the horse barn.  The large cotton wood tree dominating the center of the picture would fall in June 1969 during a severe storm. It  almost landed on the southeast corner of the family home.
